My boyfriend and i loved this place, especially their burgers. We went there today and got a shock. They no longer wait on you, you need to place and pay for your order up front (they now except debit/credit), they give you a number placer to put on your table. You need to pick up your drink at a table close to the entrance and if you need a refill YOU need to go ask for it. On top of that they NO longer make burgers and their omelettes are now flat and dry.We will never be going back. What a disappointment.
Great quality breakfast food and believe it or not amazing burgers. This was THE breakfast place before they all started cropping up all over the place. Where they lost me years ago though was when they stopped poaching the eggs for their eggs benedict. Why? I could imagine no earthly reason why a place essentially specializing in eggs chose to no longer prepare them poached.
This is our go to breakfast place. The service is good and the food hits the spot every time. A great place for brunch on the weekends……
Massive portions. Tiny old restaurant in need of an inside out makeover. Cash only with no signage to warn you but do have an ATM. Food was excellent better than sunset and eggsmart. Drinks were expensive 2.85 for small bottle juice and 1.95 coffee which they never came to offer to refill. Complimentary pancake with your meal so dont bother wasting one of your sides on a pancake!
Amazing. I went to flips a couple days ago and was extremely happy with there service and the food. The best part of it was the amount of food they gave that was absolutely delicious but also at a VERY reasonable price. I’ve never been so happier.
Very good food and plenty of it. Despite the negative reviews we decided to give this place a chance. Staff was friendly and prompt. Food was very good and extremely generous portions. They even gave us complimentary pancakes. I could see how people wouldn’t like the seating arrangement if it were busy, but to be honest I think that would be people’s aversion to sharing a bit of personal space and not really a mark against the restaurant. We will be returning!
Extremely disappointed. Went to Flips yesterday and was beyond disappointed with the lack of service. We were a party of 3 and placed our order almost immediately. Three sets of 2 couples came in well after us and ALL got their meals before us ??? Questioned the waitress and was told our order would be next. Few minutes later ONE order was given and we were told the other two orders would be another FIVE minutes. How is that right ? We got up and left. We have frequently visited Flips at least 2-3 times a month and this was by far the very worst experience. Got chased out by the waitress to pay for my sons juice which he had one sip from (we left on the table). The very least they could of done was comp the juice considering we had waited well over 30 mins for 3 breakfasts. Totally unreasonable. This waitress knows us and we always always over tipped there. Won’t EVER go back.
