Have been visiting Flips since ’99 with my parents and now with my own family. Never had any issues previously on till this new type of ordering system pay before you get seated (if lucky enough to have ur food timed perfectly for when you do get a seat, otherwise was advised they would put our food aside till we had a table? Really?) We also waited 25 min before our food was done while watching people who arrived 5min or less to be served their food same time we were.The coffee is self serve which was no better than instant coffee also not hot enough, free refills at $2.25 a cup for bad coffee we had half a cup if that each. Food was overly salty especially that bacon & home fries. Service? What service the cook from the back comes serve your food, cooks should stay in the back not serve. Your receipt is placed on ur meal (I mean directly on the plate with food) when it rings up ready to serve. I thought there must be a new owner as why would anyone make so many changes to what was considered by many an amazing place, it must come down to profit for little cost for the restaurant hence why there’s less employees no table service to turn higher profits, I would gladly leave a tip for good table service, if I wanted to get up from my meal to get jam or coffee I would have just stayed at home served myself. Just standing there after paying waiting for a table 3 other people with family have also stated that would be their last dining experience there. Just the whole overall experience one can tell it’s not as busy as it was, the people who are going have not experienced the new way of flips once they have…Flips can guarantee no return visits. I will continue to advice everyone I know of these changes and our experience and advice for them to go to Johns Family restaurant just down the street! Flips has commented on other ppls reviews about how much the other customer’s love this new fast quick dining experience but please read reviews there are many other reviews as mine that all experience the same why? Cause we are fully being honest no one has stated they hate the food just this new way of service and really is it worth all the hassle? No it’s not. We are customers paying for a certain level of service, we are not eatting for free. Flips needs us more than we need their breakfast.
Been wanting to come here for the longest time! Finally sat down and whoa the food was sooo good. I ordered the light breakfast option, which is 2 large eggs, toast and your choice of a flip side! The best part of the meal were the eggs…made to perfection and the toast had the right amount of butter. Delicious and Highly Recommend!!!!

I’ve tried many breakfast places in Brampton, Mississauga and Oakville and this is by far the best.
