This is my go to spot. The appetizer menu is to DIE for. Definitely have to try the cauliflower wings && the Thaifighter (authentic Thai). But, wow Tuesdays are my new Fridays. —Buck-a-Shuck Oysters on Tuesdays (steal of a deal)… along with half priced bottles of wine. Chicken and Waffles are amazing. Just keep in mind the High spice level. Never disappointing.
Was excited to try this place. Inside is beautiful and modern. Menu options are great. Apps seemed a bit pricey. Food was not as expected. Chicken wings were large, but my party didnt like the spice or being able to see the hairs on the chicken still. Server didnt offer to get something else for us when they were sent back, which i thought unusual, especially when the only other food she had was a caesar salad. Chicken and waffles was very spicy as the server warned (same spice as chicken wings). Would be better with thighs and plated differently so waffles don’t get soggy. I prefer a savory waffle these were quite sweet. Plating was very nice overall. Nice that they offer free bday dessert, get the nutella balls, pass on the nutella pizza.
I had lunch with girlfriend on the patio at J Red & Co. The lunch menu had lots of decadent eats including some spectacular sandwiches, burgers and pasta dishes. I had the Mango Salad with spicy Cajun chicken and my friends enjoyed the do it yourself Bento Box which they chose a half sandwich, soup, salad, featured appetizer and dessert!
