Why isn’t there an option to give zero stars?Fish tasted frozen and horrible Gumbo had shrimp that were smaller than salad shrimp almost no chickenRice tasted like leftover rice a roniServer was not attentive2 of 4 dishes sent back one intolerable. How do you complain to get a comp for horrible food when your meal is prepaid by groupon?? If we came here and didn’t have a groupon we would have walked out without paying as soon as the apps came out.Worst restaurant I’ve been to in Toronto ever.Disgusting and shameful
Aside from expensive steakhouses or Red Lobster you won’t find too many seafood places around so Louisiana’s is a nice place to visit from time to time. The food is good, the prices are a little high, but catch a special and you’ll do okay. In all honesty though, I go to Louisiana’s once for every ten visits to Red Lobster (over a long period of time) so while not bad, it’s also nothing that keeps me coming back often.
I had the snow crab legs. The container of butter was so small I had to ask twice for more. While the food was not bad the service was terrible. The server didn’t come by to see if we needed refills on our drinks. We were put in a corner and forgotten. Remember you’re in a service industry the better the service the better the tip.
Purchased living social coupons $19 for 40 dollars worth of food. First time we went with a group of 8…ordered steak and lobster which was good. The salmon was ok. Food not louisiana style. Kind of bland.Second time we went to use the remainder of our coupons. Only realizing that we can only use 1 of the two remaining. Me and my hubby went this time. I order pasta with seafood $24 not worth it at all. Small portion and couldn’t find the seafood. My hubby ordered the louisiana jambalaya $19….definetly not worth it. Small and mainly rice. I noticed that the price on the internet differs from the menu they give you at the restaurant. About $5-7 difference more. Price is apparently the same accordinly to them for lunch and dinner? No explanation given. We contemplated to use our last coupon on Sunday Feb. 15th. What could go wrong on a salad and burger. I ordered the louisiana burger and hubby ordered the caesar salad. Disapppointed again. The burger kept repeating on me and the salad was not agreeing. Too much cream and one small portionof chicken just barely meeting the cooking mark.. The servers have no customer social. They bring the menu and no effort to tell about specials. When you are ready to pay, the servers wait near your table. Puts you on the spot for tips. Will not buy again for this restaurant. Over priced, the food is not what you see on the internet.. Not even close. Too bad, they can make something good if they put more effort on the quality of their food and service. I guess the servers are pressured by the owner to come by the tables every ten minutes to see if you want anything more.
Good food…very quiet and empty. I went to this restaurant twice…the first time was on father’s day and the next was with ma man. I lodve the food…I got the fish and chips my first time and it was delicious! Cooked well, small potion but very fulling so I enjoyed it. The second time I got the non blackened chicken and scrimp fettuccine. It was really good….I dont usual get pasta at restaurants by I decided to get something new and I loved it. Very tasty, creamy and fulling but not to the point of being bloated. Itz a very quiet and low key restaurant I feel…not too much people come there but I like that itz quiet. Perfect for me. Overall great food and service. The price of the food is a bit expensive but I used a coupon thank god because if I didnt have a coupon I probably wouldn’t go back. Just too pricey. But awesome food guys!
We just came back from our first visit to Louisiana Seafood. Our son graduated tonight and we wanted to find a place that could suit my husband’s pescatarian palate, my son’s craving for meat, his girlfriend’s love of spice..and the other diverse people in our group. They were so patient with my numerous calls to change numbers and delay due to grad running late. ATTENTIVE… and friendly staff. Menu was amazing. Food was fantastic….and they went above and beyond for my onion sensitivity in a salsa on top of blackened red snapper.instead they grilled pineapple and placed this next to my fish. They gave similar attention to everyone else. Food arrived hot and quickly. It was also prepared well…and my husband travels through Europe and the US and he was thrilled. We have found our new perfect place. Thanks for making a grad dinner worthy of the milestone event!!
Changed- not for the better. This restaurant used to have fantastic food and a great atmosphere. It used to be our regular place for dinner when we lived in the area. It’s been about 5 year since I was there last. Tonight we had dinner there. The restaurant was practically empty. Figured it was because we were there before 6pm. Do NOT order the coconut shrimp. Paying $12 for 5 miniature pieces of shrimp definitely ticked me off. Our entrees were ok. Just ok. Would I go back? Definitely not, especially not with their prices. This restaurant isn’t what it used to be. Don’t waste your time. Or your money.
