One of My Faves. Top 10 fish and chips places in the GTA. the batter is crisp and light while the fish is moist and flakey. What this dive lacks in atmosphere it more than makes up in flavour and service. I’m going to eat here again.
Wow the arrogance. The fish was good…the fries were old and stale and the owner had the gall to argue with me about the state of them…he said no one ever complains…well I was, I told him and he said he would not replace or return the fries…my husband drove down and made him eat some of the inedible objects…the owner disagrees that the customer is always right! Nice job buddy you just lost customers…I hope you read this….
Best fish and chips anywhere. This is by far the best fish and chips in the GTA. The service is good, the place is clean. The fish not heavily battered and crisp, good portion. The fries are Yukon Gold excellent. The prices are very reasonable.
Messed me up. I have passed by Mimis for years and decided to go try it seeing Gotts is gone and was out of the way for Heritage. I got a haddock and chips.The fish tasted ok and the batter was ok, fries tasted fine. Next morning everything ran right through me. I’ve never had this happen to me having Fish & Chips ever. I guess there is a 1st time for everything. Never again…..

I have tried many many fish and chip shops ion Ontario, and Mimi’s is among the best I have ever had.
The best in brampton. Just to let everyone know that mimi’s fish and chips have great food and great prices. their service is top and their food is top quality. i recommend this restaurant to everyone.
