Kebab was great, but the rice was low flavour and the naan was packaged. Average to above average. Really fast paced and a quick way to grab a bite for sure!
The food at Pamier Kabob is really quite good but the portions are not overly generous so to get a good quantity of food the price really starts to add up. This is really why we don’t visit as often as we’d otherwise like. The value really isn’t there.
I was craving kababs. This place satisfied my craving. Nice large pieces of chicken. Pretty happy with the portion well worth the price. I will come back again.
The food was very tasty. We tried the lamb tikka and for a vegetarian option the dal sabzi. The wait was about 15 minutes; the food came hot and fresh. The naan was soft, warm and good. The lamb was tender and nicely spiced. The dal had a nice kick to it (we chose medium spiciness) and was quite flavourful. We didn’t bother with the rice. The portion size was good enough without it. We also tried the mango shake and fresh lime juice; both were very nice but the lime could have used some mint. We went at dinner time on a Friday. There was plenty of seating, as most people were doing takeout. Plenty of parking. I’ll come back and try the chicken next time.
Been here twice already, and highly recommend it for the regular carnivorous diner! Pretty much everything on the menu is worth raving about, but the beef kebabs and lamb chops are especially nommers! The food is fairly priced ($11-12 can get you a decent sized meal), and the large and spacious restaurant provides plenty of room to move around. A few sets of extra long tables make it an ideal environment for a large dining group.I’ve only ever been here for lunch, and the restaurant has never been that busy….so can’t say what dinner service is like. Still, the kebabs are worth the wait. There’s no waiter service, so make sure you keep an ear out for that bell!(First reviewed in 2011)
Great Food, Horrible Service. We walked up to the counter to find one of the servers busy windexing the doors while the other server was extremely busy stiring a pot of lentil soup, which was obviously more important then serving their clients (?)The cook at the back had to signal the two ladies to take our order, and then both of them did a mental rock, paper, scissors (or maybe even a coin toss, who knows) to see which one landed the daunting task of taking down our order. The one with the windex won. No lamb kebobs were available today but the rest of the food was delicious! Don’t let the poor service scare you away.
Greasy rice. I usually go Pamier kabob when passing through Brampton. The only healthy concern I do have is the very greasy rice they bake. Now days people try to avoid oily food which cause so many health issues. I strongly recommend to the management and the ownership to consider reducing the amount of oil using in rice and other food. The rest it is very tasty.
