A great selection for seafood lovers. Sushi and Sashimi which were super tasty with spicy sauce, a great assortment of fresh fish too! Lobsters were well prepared and served hot. They have a fair variety of Asian food served hot and which is relishing. A huge desert selection which looked endless to me. Plenty of space. Nice ambiance and decor. Parking is free and space is available. Definitely a place to come again and again.Show less
Came here with my family last evening for dinner. Started off with the lobster bisque soup and sushi appetizers. They worked as real appetizers. Spoonful has a big buffet with lots of choices. Seafood, fish, meats, poultry, vegetables, fruits and everything in between. Large selection of sweets & deserts. The dessert stations go on and on, wide selection enjoyed the mousse and ice cream. Good place for dinner with or without family. Service was good and prices are reasonable.
I was pleasantly surprised at the amount and variety of food at this place. Notably, there was salmon sashimi, spinach quiches, a chocolate fountain, make your own pasta bar, escargot tarts, a candy bar in addition to the regular fixings of a normal buffet. The place is quite attractive and nicely laid out, with a huge selection of roasted and grilled items to sushi and sashimi to custom Pad Thai stir-fry. Seafood lovers would get the most out of this place. Will surely be back during the coming holidays.
A happy place with happy Asian food. The soup that I ordered was warm / cold, but definitely not hot. The service takes time, but the food is surely tasty and worth this price point. Friendly staff and good service.
Went to Spoonful for dinner during the weekend. Wow, awesome restaurant. International cuisine with everything from lobsters, sushi to burritos, samosas and gummy candies for dessert. Also largest ice cream selection I’ve seen at a buffet. Very nice decor and overall ambiance Price/ Cost- 4- Reasonable, approx $26 each dinnerFood / taste – 5 – Quality and Quantity Atmosphere – 4.5 – nice decor / layout Clean bathroomsService – Excellent
Excellent variety of sushi, much better than most oriental buffets. Cold salads and seafood options were plentiful, including many options I had not seen in similar restaurants. Tons of hot foods as well. We were impressed by the variety and quality of everything we tried. Many options for vegetarians and those who eat fish but no meat. And there’s so much, it was impossible to try everything. Huge selection of desserts – after selecting our desserts in one display, we realised there was a whole other display with different options on the other side of the room. Great ice cream options too. A little bit of annoyance we came across which you would encounter at any restaurant. However, the food experience was very good and we’re looking forward to returning.
I went to Spoonful for the first time with three friends, just a few weeks ago. In short, I would say that it was overall a good experience, with a buffet that had lots of variety, tasty options, good service, and reasonably priced. I’ll gladly go again, hoping I time my arrival to the restaurant when the oysters are available. I liked the discounts they give for senior citizens. I also liked the interiors and the ambiance.
