This place is a joke lol I came once and will never go back . The food was horrible and bland. Try gems or sunrise way better options. Lazy rundown place they take no pride in there food
Not satisfied !. I am not being rude or trying to say you should not go there .. But the food has no flavour ! Today i got two meals which were on special for 5.65 which is an amazing price but the food had no flavour , I got the jerk chicken which was really soft I could of almost mistaken it for a stew chicken the jerk had no spice or even jerk flavouring was not there or maybe the jerk rub/spice just isn’t good there was also a weird after taste I would say the jerk was more of an Indian style then a Caribbean taste . I also got curry chicken again the chicken was very soft and falling off the bone (I presonally love the bite and chew my chicken ) doesn’t seam like it was fryed up before or was clocked down almost like boiled chicken .. The sauce was also very runny and transparent ! Nothing beats a medium thicken curry sauce .. Was not a fan of the taste the food was very canadianized .. This was not down to earth Jamaican food
Don’t listen to the negative review, it’s BS! This place makes good food. I’ve had quite a few dishes from this place and I LOVED all of them. The daily specials for $5.65 after tax are a good deal. Jerk Chicken is not nearly spicy enough, but that is my single complaint. The rice is prepared perfectly, and the slaw adds a nice crunch without adding too much flavor. They make your food in good enough time, and they have four and five dollar beers to have while you wait if you want. Staff has been friendly on all my visits. I recommend getting the curry goat special on a Thursday, and washing it down with a red stripe! Cheers Sources: I live in downtown Toronto and have been to my fair share of Caribbean restaurants
Worst plate of caribbean food I have ever eaten.. The dumplings were full of salt and almost inedible. The curry chicken lacked flavour and the sauce was watery. This was the worst plate of caribbean food I have ever eaten. Sunrise (150 West Drive, Brampton) is so much better. I will never go back there it is a waste of money. Also,on weekends they don’t cook their entire menu, so there are limited food options. Try it yourself it isn’t good.
Great people! I eat there a lot. Very flavor flaveable!
I have been eating at The Vineyard for around 3 years and my go to is the curry goat. Its so very flavourful and the meat is the tenderest I have ever had. The service can be a bit slow but its great food. The pattys are extremely flakey and cheap. If they still have the homemade hot sauce you must try it. Its orange and very hot.
