It was late, after ten oclock.. and we were looking for somewhere not too expensive for dinner that was serving late..we had pasta dishes which was delicious , fresh and hot. The place was clean and welcome even at that hour.
Terrible service. Just visited location on Wayne Gretzky. Was seated and waited 20min for someone to at least take a drink order. Manager kept looking at us from server area and noticed that we were still waiting. Even when we got up to leave manager did nothing. Never go there again
Beyond Disgusting!. In all honesty, I’m actually surprised that Boston Pizza is still open. I came here during the week for a quick lunch. When I walked in, I had to wait five minutes at the front desk before I was noticed by one of the staff members. She directed me to a booth and provided me with a menu. The menu was folded over and squashed, it looked as though it had been around for ages. A server came up to me about three minutes after I sat down and asked what I wanted to drink; I said that I wanted a glass of water. She came back a few minutes later with my water and yapped on about having to talk to three other tables before bringing me my water; I had no idea why she mentioned this as it had no relation to me whatsoever. I ordered the chicken quesadilla with french fries. The meal came out in about five minutes; I didn’t expect it to come out so quickly. When I looked at it, I was beyond disgusted. The inside of the quesadilla was cold; the cheese wasn’t even fully melted, and it wasn’t crunchy. The sour cream wasn’t creamy; it was thick and hard to spread. I knew right there and then that the food was reheated from the freezer. I was going to eat all of it when the server came by and asked how everything was. I told her that the inside of the quesadilla was cold; she told me that they would make me another one and that it would only take ‘3 minutes’. Wow, I didn’t know it took 3 minutes to make a whole quesadilla meal. When I heard that, I was even more disgusted. I agreed to it as I would rather pay for a hot meal than a cold meal. I finished my french fries as they were actually hot. Within a few minutes, the server came back with my new quesadilla dish, with another order of french fries. This time, it was actually hot but I knew it was just placed in the oven a little while longer this time. It was nice of the server to bring me a new dish but the food at this place was absolutely disgusting! How could they feed frozen food and charge almost $14 for a piece of garbage. The service wasn’t all that great either; the server was nice enough but she didn’t do anything to make my lunch any more special than a regular lunch. Don’t waste your money; go to the frozen section of your grocery store, pick up a frozen dinner, and eat that. Will save you time and money.
The Manager made it right, still…. After sending back my manicotti the manager arrived at the table. He informed me that the pasta is no longer made fresh, it is pre made and frozen and sent to the locations now. He said there have been many complaints about the pasta now. If I wanted a frozen entree I’d go to the grocery store and pay $2.99 for it. He comped my greek salad and gave my friend and I both free dessert. Excellent management will only save Boston Pizza so long if they keep serving frozen reheated food!
Always Great. This Boston Pizza always offers great service and food. I love Boston Pizza’s variety of unique pizza combinations such as tropical chicken, Cajun shrimp, and bruschetta. Think outside the pepperoni and cheese. One time I ordered a Greek pizza and the waitress was giddy over getting a pizza order other than pepperoni (which isn’t surprising in Brantford… not the most cultured town). P.S. it’s not the most affordable place for pizza, but it’s worth the extra money.
