Complaint April 10, 2014. I always have been happy with Harvey’s food. But tonight, I went through the drive thou on King George Rd. And what a surprise. I ordered a combo of a junior cheeseburger with fries. A fish sandwich , Cod, new I guess and onion rings. The best part is the diet Pepsi. I didn’t get the fries, the hamburger looks like it’s been sitting on the heat rack, cheese was so melted in the bun you couldn’t see it other than hanging over in 4 places. The patty was very hard on the outside. The cod sandwich, since it’s featured, was way over cooked. The outside was crispy and greasy, and dark brown. You knew it was fish because the onion rings were overpowering in taste. Not a good experience. My dog couldn’t eat any if it. I will still come there for Swiss Chalet, but change the grease, please.
Great Food!. The poutine is really good here, I could eat it everyday if I had to! The burgers are also well-cooked, not like other fast-food joints I have been to. I love how they ask you what you want as toppings on your burger. I also love how the pop station is in the restaurant so we can help ourselves as opposed to waiting in line and having one of the staff do it for us. The service has always been great here! Would definitely return!
