Love this place!. Love this bakery! ive been eating lunch here twice a week for over a year. Love the service and the bread is fantastic. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Ive heard the owner educating newly diagnosed people on celiac disease for sometimes half an hour, without getting frustrated or annoyed. They are a nice couple who provides a great service to brantford. keep up the great work!
Poor customer service. The older female that works there is very flippant and ignorant. She does not understand what customer service is all about nor does she care. When dealing with an upset customer she becomes very nasty and would rather give attitude back than trying to empathize to settle the customer down. She would rather lose a customer than try to understand the situation and apologize. I can guarantee you the older lady will see it differently. I sincerely wish the company good luck however I will not return as long as that lady is there which I assume by all the pictures that she is part owner. I truly hope no one will experience what I did.
Gluten-free heaven. There’s no doubt why Sophia’s is doing so well. They sell large amounts of bread every week, have sandwiches, treats and great service. Thank you for keeping it fresh, not frozen and being very kind. One suggestion. Give us vegetarians more sandwich options. We’ll love you even more.

Not just for celiacs!. I would like to start out by saying that my husband and I can and do eat gluten, but have many friends and family who cannot! This is a place where we can go with my gluten free friends and enjoy wonderful tasting food, which tastes as good if not better than the non gluten free cafes. The desserts are dangerously good and I always leave with extras to take home but many don’t survive the car ride home!!! I give this cute little cafe two thumbs up!!!!
Simply Amazing. Sophia’s is one of those rare places that satisfies and then exceeds expectations, in every single category. The owners are fantastic, helpful, and friendly. The food, is absolutely amazing, and caters to special dietary restrictions. Finally, their atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. It’s such a badge of honour for the downtown to have an amazing restaurant/bakery like Sophia’s. Everyone I’ve ever gone with, has absolutely adored it.
