What a great family owned restaurant !! The owner Anthony and his wife (sorry never got it) are just wonderful!! I suggested this restaurant to friends of mine and we all went there last night!! Hubby and I have been a few times now and enjoy each time. Our friends loved it! Food is all fresh and was cooked to perfection last night!! I had the veal.. Omg, melt in your mouth and hubby had chicken parm and pasta! We are raved and eat every bite! I had creme brle.. Wow! It’s not cheap, but remember anything that’s fresh, and time has been put into it!! It’s worth the experience !! I have to say, it’s better then the Keg and we like that restaurant to..
I would definitely give this one a try. Not the kind of place for every night, but well worth it when you can! Although every thing looks delish on the menu, I always order the same thing. Fettuccini Alfredo with a chicken leg. The leg has been frenched, and the taste is spectacular! Do your best to get in there when you can.
Went there last night for a birthday dinner. The quality of the ingredients they use is noticeable as the food is just spectacular. I’ve never liked tomatoes before, but the appetizer I had last night changed my opinion on them. The pasta I had was also so creamy and delicious. The service is quite fast, and the staff are quite friendly and kind. The ambience is just wonderful, even though it can get a bit crowded (although it doesn’t feel that way). It’s truly worth the money if you want to have an excellent meal.
Alysewine. My very favorite Italian Family restaurant! Guaranteed good food whether for lunch or dinner, busy or not. Very fast friendly and knowledgeable service. Food, very authentic Italian and very fresh top notch ingredients! My husband and I go there n a regular basis and have never been disappointed.You must try this Italian gem tucked away in Brantford!I have never been to such an impeccably CLEAN and spotless restaurant anywhere. You could virtually eat off the floor!
Best place to dine. My husband and i love going to Speekezies! The food is always amazing, and although we usually order the same thing every time their menu is very pleasing. Best place in town hands down!
Amazing Place!. I have been to this place a few times and everytime I come, I am never disappointed. The owners are very friendly and kind, and they take care of their customers. The food is really fresh and tasty, the pizza is made fresh, along with the pasta. The only thing that would deter me from this place is the price, as it can definitely get pricey. However, if you’re up to spending money for good food, then this is definitely where you should go. This is definitely authentic Italian food, and I recommend that you visit!
Party of #4. Dinner. Thursday.. You won’t find any establishments using the same quality of cheese and toppings nearby at the same value.Everything was fresh and cooked properly. The Alfredo sauce with sun-dried tomatoes was superb. The pizza sauce was very flavorful and is hard to match nearby. There was only a minor issue with the crust being a bit burnt, but it is difficult to avoid in a brick oven(and usually expected/sometimes wanted). Also they seemed to go a bit light on the toppings(not sauce or cheese). This can prove frustrating when serving well-known 4-6 topping pizzas because it is a lot harder for the flavors to come through.The service was very quick and enjoyable. I would recommend going on a date their and enjoying the wine selection. This is a very cozy hardworking family restaurant and I will be dining there again.
