  Saturday Supper. Second time at Symposium Restaurant in Brantford. Again food for the supper meal was excellent. Would recommend going there. Service by the server (Doris) was extremely good as she knew the menu very well. Was able to recommend the best meals for our needs that evening. Was very thorough and friendly. Also one of the owners (Emile) came over to talk with us about the meal and the restaurant. Prices for the meals on the menu were very reasonable and affordable. We will be going there again soon.

  First Time. Went to try the Friday night fish and chips. The fish was very good as I am picky and usually only eat halibut. The fries were awful and cold and I should of sent them back. Will try another dish next time as service was good and atmosphere as well.

  A little work could make it perfect.. First of all lets start with the bad. The one manager need to extend his vocabulary outside of hey guys, have a nice day guy, thanks guys. Also, when someone walks on the door I am baffled as to why is takes so long for anyone to acknowledge you when the door has a bell. The food is amazing but you can’t go on just that and having a your waitresses do all the work. They are so nice and more genuine then anyone else. The cook is awesome, so keep up the great work. Just come to the front desk quicker and say more then just guys. It’s irritating.

  Great Experiences. I’ve been to Symposium Brantford many, many times and plan on going back many, many more. The atmosphere is great. The service impeccable. The staff are extremely friendly and can’t seem to do enough for you. I feel like I’m at a 5 star resort with the service. The food and drinks are fabulous!! I attend on a regular basis with friends from work for Wednesday night martinis and mussels. The BEST I’ve EVER had. Each night of the week is a different special. Prices are very reasonable so it leaves room for a good tip which has always been well deserved. I love this restaurant and will continue going. It kind of feels like home. Keep up the good work staff!

  Tried new Gluten free menu…very delicious. Good quality food, without the same boring choices as your typical restaurants. Great staff.

  Nothing Great. I have been to another Symposium location in another city and found it pricey for dessert however, decided to give it a shot for dinner. When we first walked in, we had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to notice we were there. When we finally got seated, we were given menus and it took another 10 minutes for our waitress to take our orders. We order the spinach dip for an appetizer. That took about 15 minutes, and we still didn’t receive our drinks (which was just water). The spinach dip came, then our drinks came about 2 minutes later. The pita bread that came with the dip was excellent, but the dip was chunky and lacked taste. Then, another 20 minutes goes by, and we received our main meals. The soulavki sandwich was nothing to rave about, the pork was so big it kept falling out of the bun, and the french fries were cold and limp. We weren’t happy with the food or the service; to pay $43 for what we received was not worth it. I definitely won’t be back to this place.

  Give it a try. I had the smoked salmon bennies which just were not that good. My friends had the grilled cheese which was great. The resto has a good aptmosphere and they are really trying hard on the service. Its brand new and I think that it will be pretty good.
