Great Price for Excellent Quality Food. The price is excellent for a buffet, the other ones in town are either too expensive or cheap but with poor quality food. Yong Great Wall is the best of both, great price and excellent food. Weve gone for dinner three times now, and we havent had a bad time yet. The place is rather large, with lots of seating options and peaceful decorations and music. Weve sat in each of the seating areas and found that while sitting at the front is our favourite, all of them are well placed and not too crowded. The Staff are quick to seat you and are attentive to their tables. Plates are cleared away very quickly and drinks are topped up frequently.The buffet selection is quite good, and the Staff does a great job of replenishing food even when its not necessarily needed. All the food is kept hot, and the selection is decent. The plates are always clean and the buffet area is always being tended to, you never see food mixed in with other food or food outside of where it belongs. All the food has its own individual flavor, everything has a unique taste. Our favourite foods are the Sesame Chicken and the Peppered Beef; both are delicious and have a very savory flavor. They also offer some sushi, but I only recommend it during regular hours of business. It seems that its not too popular, and getting near the end of the night it looks a little dried out. The dessert choices are quite good; they offer fruit, ice cream, pies and cakes, pudding and some prepackaged options like Two Bite Brownies. The fruit itself is very fresh, when compared to other buffets; its actually juicy and ripe. The Apple Pie demands a recommendation; it is warm and fantastically made. Theres a decent mixture of Chinese and Canadian foods to eat, but the overall selection isnt as large as some other buffets weve been to. But, for the price it is well worth the trip. We very much enjoy going to Yong Great Wall Buffet, the price is great for the excellent quality food. The Staff is more than accommodating, even offering to make new food for us when we went late at night. This is a much better choice, in our opinion to some of the other Chinese Buffet style restaurants here in Brantford. We have not had a bad time going here yet, and we recommend this place highly.

You could feel every movement of the person behind you.We didn’t stay of course. I did mention the problems and the sever said nothing. Price of $10. You get what you pay for. I rather pay $15. For real plates, good food and clean bathrooms! Bargin if you want to go for a drink $3.50 each for a beer or wine.This could be a great location if they made some changes. I hope they do.
Don’t Even Listen To The Negative Reviews!!!!. Me, my boyfriend, and my parents went here for the dinner buffet, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious, the restaurant itself was beautiful, and a great time was had by all.Even my mother, who’s one of the toughest people ever to please, enjoyed it, had 3 plates, and said she wanted to go again!I was a bit apprehensive because I saw so many negative reviews, but I have no idea what they were talking about.At $9.99 a plate, and under $50 for FOUR PEOPLE, you definitely get your money’s worth.
We’re we at the same place?. I was quite impressed with Yung Great Wall Buffet. The place was clean, we were seated quickly, the buffet was massive with choices for every taste, and the price can’t be beat. Where else can one get two very filling dinners and two glasses of wine and spend less than $30? At many buffets, the food is cold and always looks ‘picked over’: not here. I would definitely go back.
My family Loves this Resturant. Great selection of food and very fresh, brand new so very clean and the service is amazing the prices are great only 7.99 for lunch and 8.99 for dinner you can’t beat the prices. This is now our favorite Resturant and everyone we bring there it ends up being there favorite resturant as well and oh yea there is no MSG
This place is not worth the trip. We thought we would try this new place since we love Chinese buffets. Our hostess was pleasant enough, the p,lace was clean enough but the food stunk. Not a big selection at all. You can definitely tell most if not all comes out of a box or can or just store bought. Onion rings are minced not real. The treats ie., cakes were dry and tasteless. Chocolate pudding was disgusting. Ribs were like chewing leather. We got there around 3ish on Sunday so we don’t know if they were waiting to restock or what. Very disappointing. The only decent thing was the sushi..that actually tasted somewhat fresh. Everything else was blahhhh and again, the selection was horrible. We will definitely never go back nor recommend this place..sadly. Because of the lack of staff, we also watched an older couple get tired of waiting and just walked out without paying their bill. OOpsie.
This place is awesome, the food was still fresh at 2:30pm and the staff was at the door and kind, I want more people to come here as the resturant was mostly empty (such a shame). There was plenty of desserts, ice cream, the white fish was very tender and cooked perfectly, the roast beef was also cooked well (two helpings of that eeek!) Please make a point to come in for a very cheap and fast lunch (much better and cheaper than any of the 6 fast food places close by)There may be no free lunch, but at least this place does it good fast and cheap!!!
