Sadly the new owner(s) have taken this delicious food institution and turned it for the worse. My wife and I have been eating here for over 5 years, it was our favorite spot for authentic chinese food. We first noticed on new years when we went and ordered our usual. The owners weren’t present and it was being run by teenagers. All of the dishes lacked the quality and flavour we have come to know (even the tea was weak, served without a teapot in cheap clear plastic cup). We chalked all this up to the owners taking a vacation for once and left their children to take care of the place, so we gave it a pass. However, we went back tonight and once again had a supremely disappointing meal, barely edible – loaded full of szechuan peppercorns and some indistinguishable black ooze. The bathrooms were filthy and the same went for the kitchen as I peered through the service window. I verfied with our server that it is under new ownership as we paid our bill. It is sad, we loved this place so much and now will never return.
