Tried the mix platter along with Afghani Paluo. Good taste. Service was good.Chicken kebabs were very tender.Suggestion: please simplify your menu. It gets very confusing with the pictures. It should be easy to read.
Had a coworker pick this up for our group for lunch one day. I got their shami kebabs. The portion was quite a good size, and the flavour was okay. It could have used some sauce or something though.However, I went back a few months ago to eat in with Kintamanate and I tried their chicken kebabs with salad, while he had lamb chops. It was a little slow, in terms of service, but they did warn us the lamb would take a while to cook. The chicken was quite juicy and delicious, and it was a great sized portion of salad.I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in the mood for some middle-eastern cuisine, but not necessarily shawarma.

I come here every other day. The quality and freshness is great. Plates start at a little over $10 but are well worth it (especially for the amount of meat you get) if you try to get this much chicken/beef/lamb from any other restaurant they’ll charge you double.And all of it is made over an open flame, delicious!
Best Afghan food in Ottawa!. One of the best Afghan restaurants I’ve been to. This place is a must for those who like great food with very reasonable prices. A true gem for all the foodies. The service has always been exceptional and the portions are decent size. The kabobs (both chicken & beef) are my favorite. They are perfectly cooked and very flavorful (I usually get the Sultani combo). A must visit whenever I’m in Ottawa.
