Brutal, just Brutal – from Burlington. Worse Chinese food ever – was really looking forward to it but so sorry to have wasted the money. Ruined our dinner/evening.
Liked the sweet and sour fish and the black bean fish. Really good. Not a rip like other local Chinese restaurants. There’s a sufficient amount of meat ratio than veggies – getting my money worth it.
Maybe the rest of the food is ok. Worst Cantonese chow mein I have ever had. I bought an order of each type of Cantonese chow mein and they were both horrible – we threw them out after a few bites. Very bland with a strong fish odour. Waste of $24.
Its pretty good. I will attempt to clarify a few things some reveiwers are not quite aware of based off my personal experiences backpacking through asia with specific references to china. The first being portion sizes, when in asia when you order a dish you order for the table and not for yourself so if you intend to order a few things for yourself expect massive portions as they are meant to feed a table of individuals. Secondly if you order anything deep fried that is not traditional chinese food so i cannot fathom why some individuals would attribute it to that. As for the food i ordered traditional chinese food dishes some steamed dumplings (on par with what you would get in china). I also ordered the duck now understandably the duck was different than what you would get in china as chinese duck is a much larger bird and the meat is slightly less oily as it is rotisseried rather than roasted however it was still quite good. The szechuan eggplant was a lot saucier than expected but the flavour was on par with what you would find in szechuan province. Finally the szechuan noodles were quite good and also what you would find in the province of the same name. All in all this place does do excellent traditional dishes if that is what you were looking for. Previously i have tried thier ‘north american’ chinese dishes ie calamari and dry fried scallops and shrimp and this dishes are quite tasty. All in all this is probably the best chinese food i have been able to find in the local area and depending on how adventurous you are feeling its quite good. For obvious reasons they dont serve every authentic chinese dish there is as certain ingredients are hard to come by but i would recommend this for anyone looking for a taste of china or just generally some good take away.
Fantastic. Not much to say here. Pretty much every item that I’ve ordered from here has been excellent. Food is incredibly flavourful and the prices are great. You don’t have to look that much further than here for Chinese food in Oakville.
Masterpiece. Consistently some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever ordered for take out. Fresh, homemade, and bursting with flavour. These guys get it right.
We always order dinner for 2B with chicken chow mien (or as they say, chicken noodle). Amazing. Fresh. Hot. Delicious. Every time!!!
