Chicken and rice shawarma. This place usually pumps out the best chicken and rice shawarma ever, but on this particular occasion a couple of kids were working the kitchen and the food just wasn’t nearly as bang on as it usually is.
Worst chicken shawarma ever, they use red meat with skin, cartilage, and fat. I wouldn’t feed this to my dog:(30 Nov, 2013I have tried many shwarma places, this has to the worst chicken shwarma I ever had. The chicken was full of fat, rubbery with the skin and all. They don’t use white meat. The Shwarma is way over priced for the quality. I will never return here again:(
Overpriced and beef overcooked. Visited Royal Shwarma for the first time last night. Ordered 2 chicken shwarma with greek salad dinners, and a kafta with rice dinner. 3 meals came to $43!!! I was there with my 2 year old son, we waited for over 20 minutes for these 3 dishes to be prepared… all they had to do was get the chicken off of the spit and make a salad! we were also the only people in the restaurant, other than anothr gentleman who had already been served and was eating at a table. The food was fair…. but I have had better. The portions were VERY SMALL relative to the EXPENSIVE MENU PRICES. We will definitely NOT RECCOMMEND this restaurant to our family and friends, nor will we ever go back there to eat again!!!!
I have been here a few times; the shawarma is good. The food is good overall, especially for that part of Oakville. The only problem I have is tge attitude of the owners. They never welcome you and have a strange demeanor with the customer. Sometimes they are quite rude. They can cook but they have to start treating customers better, especially considering the high prices and the fact that the place is a total dump inside.
Wow!!. This has gotten to be the best thing i have every eatin befor, i have tried mean shawarma but this OMG im soo speach less when i took that bit it was like soo much flavour that was bursting in my mouth. It has to be in my top 3 Favorited Restauran in oakville.
Terrible. Horrible value for money, I do not understand how this place is in business with the lack of quality menu items and high prices. For a chicken shawarma sandwich the only toppings offered are onions and tomatoes! no hummus, tahini, tzatziki, pickled turnip, tabbouleh, pickles, peppers or any other toppings. When I asked for hummus the guy gave me so much attitude than laughed about my question. Place is a joke and I will never return.
My god, I have been to many many Shawarma places but this is my favourite in between Toronto to Niagara.First if all this place is a hole in the wall, appearance is crappy and the time for the food to be made takes a good 15 minutes for your dish. But who cares! The food here is amazing.I have only done the chicken shawarma on a rice plate but I will never deviate. This isn’t the normal shawarma where it is wrapped although you can order it. But I recommend the chicken shawarma plate!Their garlic sauce is awsome, not overly garlicky but very good! They also use a hot sauce which in my opinion is not hot at all. This hot sauce has fantastic flavours! It is a bit spicy but with a sweet flavour almost like the Korean hot sauce for bibimbop.If you have time and don’t care about atmosphere this is an awsome place to go. Run by family and they have no plans on expanding in the near future! Support them!I rate this place 92% for its flavour.
