FOOD:We had come here on a Sunday afternoon at around 2:30 pm for a quick bite. My husband and I decided to share a Beef Shawarma, which was around $11.00. We found this to be a bit expensive as we never paid over $10.00 for a Shawarma at any other establishment that we’ve been to. Once the Beef Shawarma was cut in-half for us to share, we realized that our halves were actually quite big, which was good to see. I found that the taste of the Shawarma was pretty good however, there were just too many onions, and not enough tomatoes. Also, it did taste a tad dry; perhaps there wasn’t enough sauce on it. There were beef pieces inside however, there weren’t enough. Overall, it was an okay Shawarma, but definitely not worth the money that we had paid for it.ATMOSPHERE:When we had walked-in, we noticed the owner of the restaurant sitting at a table in the back watching something on his laptop. He then got up and went behind the counter, washing his hands very quickly. The restaurant itself seemed a bit dated, with a lot of pricing on the board behind the counter with written-in numbers of changes. Also, the pictures seemed a bit old, and needed to be updated to show more of the food items. The chairs and tables were hard, and they weren’t properly placed on the floor, they were kind of scattered around the table. SERVICE:The owner that served us and made our Shawarma for us was friendly as he greeted us, then asked us what we had wanted and if we had wanted any other condiments. He also asked if we had wanted anything to drink. Once we were ready to leave, he wished us a good day; he seemed nice enough, and wanted to make our experience a good one.COST: 1 Beef Shawarma: Around $11.00 (Tax Included)WOULD YOU RETURN?No; the food or atmosphere just didn’t do it for me.
Food is below average and employee possibly owner is lacking in customer service. Ordered chicken shawarma plate and he charged $1 extra for a few picked beats. I don’t recommend.
