Food….wine….service. It is all incredible. I prefer Blacktree over any restaurant in Toronto, without question. Always spectacular, and we visit 3-4x per year. Great seasonal menu and fantastically crafted dishes.
Nestled in a hidden corner of a nondescript strip mall, you would never think to find world class food. But the food was exquisite. Every bite was a delight. The service was top notch. The only drawback to me was the cheap, tasteless decor. I don’t mind paying for excellent food but I expect a certain level of quality in the actual restaurant.

Fun, great service and fancy food. Went to this place with an open mind and expecting to pay a lot. yes its pretty expensive for a strip mall restaurant. food was great, service wonderful and lots of fun items given that were not on the menu. worth the visit.
Great for a Special Occasion. I recently went there to celebrate an anniversary and it was a great experience. The location of it is surprising but they make it nice but having a projector screen playing old movies in front of the window…so you don’t even realize you are in a strip mall. The food was all delicious and the staff was extremely attentive. It is, however, quite expensive. I would suggest it for a special occasion.
Excellent food and service. The owner/chef Mateo comes out to say hi and welcome you, and prepares a meal you will not forget.
Best restaurant in Burlington. Expensive but worth every penny.
