Great place. Always pleased when we come here. Love their hotdogs and milkshakes. Place hasn’t changed in 50 years and hope it doesn’t ever change.
I actually opened an account just to write this. I love dives and greasy bad food. The hotdog I had was the worst hotdog of my entire life. It was like a flavourless piece of something. I have low standards and will eat anything and even I wouldn’t eat here again.
The food was less then okay. Took quite a while to receive our food, when we did it was not very warm at all. The staff to be completely rude and very impatient. If you work in the customer service industry you need to learn how to be polite and welcoming to the public.
Hit it after a 10 year hiatus… the novelty kinda wore off. the fries and gravy are still good but the hotdog fell off. thick stale buns. minimal toppings and snooty counter staff.. i thought i was at the mcdonalds at jane and finch

Waste of money, we are not huge eaters and we had to stop at McDonald’s on the way home because we were still starving!! Not to mention the pathetic amount of food we did have was way short of fantastic. I’ve made much, MUCH better hotdogs and burgers myself. My 4 year old are their ‘footlong’ hotdog with no problems, that should tell you about their serving sizes…!
Trying so hard to love you guys.. This place is everything i love about food. history, friendly and fast. with a huge clientel. plus i love hot dogs. the problem is my stomach doesnt seem to like the food and i’m always not feeling well a short time after. im assuming it could just be i can’t handle the grease. too bad since it tastes really good going in.
