This place is great! It’s always busy on the weekends. Food is fab but a bit inconsistent..I guess it depends who is working that day. The waffles and French toast that are on the menu with mascarpone whip cream don’t actually come with homemade whip cream or mascarpone both times I went, which is a bit disappointing. They will also substitute bread without telling you if they are out of the bread advertised on the menu item. Again, just inconsistent.
Excellent place!. The food here is amazing. Fresh to order breakfast and lunches will melt in your mouth. The pastries are also very yummy! Bread pudding is always a top choice.
My Happy Place. This is hands down my favorite place on the weekends – I call it my happy place – staff is amazing soo friendly food is always so fresh and delicious and one of a kind – nothing I can make at home or find anywhere else – So happy to see they have grown their food menu to some more permanent items – I’m just waiting for the lobster bisque to come back – my fav soup flavor – and the pain au chocolat is a great treat – I always bring those when visiting anyone who has to work weekends – its a great treat for morning coffee break
Decent food, a bit overpriced…. There’s no doubt that every time I walk past Pane Fresco (or park in the attached parkade) that the wafting smell of fresh-baked bread entices me to enter.Today, I had the opportunity to work from home, so I decided to take a lunch break and head over to see if my senses were correct.I had the Chicken Parmigiana sandwich. It was supposed to be on focaccia, but I was informed they were out — I had it on french bread instead. Long story short, the sandwich (no sides, save for a few small olives) and a Limonata came to $16.While the sandwich (which included fresh basil and a decently stringy cheese) was pretty good, the price stung a bit. Maybe I’ll try a pizza next time instead…
I always buy more than I should when I walk in. Smells and tastes fantastic
Great Italian bakery (fresh)
