In my continuing quest to find a good pho restaurant in Burlington I have a new favourite. I dropped in here for lunch. The food was great, the service was quick and friendly, the restaurant itself was clean and efficient. I will continue to return to this place.
I don’t know what the negative reviews are all about but my wife and I have been coming here for years. It is both of our favorite Vietnamese restaurant and we have tried them all from Mississauga to Hamilton. The staff treat us like gold, prices are more than reasonable, the food is excellent and always has been since we first started going around 5 years ago.
What A Joke. Where do I even start! -First off, when you go into the so called ‘restaurant’, it takes 10 minutes just to be seated because the hostess is too busy talking on her cell phone, and also catering to the ‘three people’ that were in the entire restaurant that day.-We finally get seated (my wife, child and I) we wrote down our order which it took another 20 minutes for the waitress to collect, when we were clearly ready to order. (again, only 3 people in the restaurant!!!!!) -We ordered three shakes and an appetizer to start. One out of the three shakes ordered, came out 20 minutes later. We told her not to make the other 2 as it was taking way too long. -A real Vietnamese mango shake should have only have three ingredients ( blended Mango, Milk and Ice). We saw her adding things into the blender from a bucket underneath the filthy counter (looked like flavoured powder and didn’t see any real fruit!) Big thumbs down. We cancelled the other shakes when seeing this. -The food finally comes out 25 minutes later, and I cant even describe what I was served. chicken w/ vermicelli. Dry chicken, flavourless, spring roll was beyond me. My wife didn’t even touch her food. Our appetizer was a pork roll and had lettuce instead of fresh mint which it should have. We got up and paid the bill and left. I laughed when I saw the ‘TIP’ button when paying debit. What a disgrace to Vietnamese culture. I guess I should have known, looking at their establishment. I know good Vietnamese food, I’m sort of a connoisseur and have a high threshold for poor service and food, this place was over the top disgusting from start to finish, I’m sorry to say.Oh and P:S if you like the sound of unbearably loud refrigerators beside you, while eating…this is the place is for you!
Horrible Service and Food. Our first and LAST experience at Pho Mi T&T was one of the worst dinner experiences our family of 3 has experienced! The venue is dated, dusty and needs some TLC… a total of 3 tables occupied (including ours) and service was beyond slow. After waiting 25 minutes we received the 1st of 3 drinks ordered, we cancelled the order for the remaining drinks!It took 35 minutes to receive our appetizer Pork Roll Main Course was Grilled Chicken on Vermicelli w/ Spring Rolls.. Im pretty sure the spring rolls were from a frozen box and overcooked, no bigger than the size of a breakfast sausage! The Grilled chicken was DRY …. The ensure meal was uneatable Even though we were STARVING!
My wife and I Drop in most Fridays for their pad thai or stir fry always happy with the quality of dishes and serving sizes happy with the service.Ps.. try the deep fried shrimpI eat that on the way home if I pick dinner up ….don’t tell the wife.
Food is always fresh and always serve with a smile. Waitress (the only waitress) is very friendly. I will defiantly come back not just for the food but for the service with a smile!
Had pho tai bo vien, rare beef and meat balls. It wad very good. Great beef stock good beef. Light on the herbs. Would return.
