Everythig about the quality is perfect. Just the portion need to increase in compare to the prices. I recommend to evefyone, even just for one time, try this restuarant. For sure you will go there after.
I’ve eaten at this restaurant and have had take-out multiple times, and each time over and over again, Rayhoon does not disappoint. I’ve tried all of their dips – all very fresh and taste amazing. Their kabobs are SO delicious – always perfectly cooked. The rice, greek salad (the 2 options I usually get with my meals) are also awesome. Overall I just love this place ! Consistently good food.
Very tasty, very quick and pleasant service, and a very classy place! Appetizer was beautiful (see my picture), we also ordered a stew and kabob dish which were both delicious! Will be back soon!
Persian cuisines one of those cuisines that are so hard to recreate perfectly, but when done well taste incredible. As a middle eastern, I might be a bit pickier in terms of whether or not something is made properly. Eating is an experience, and I like to feel that Ive been transported to the home country of wherever Im dining at. Weird, I know. But whatever floats your boat, right?Rayhoon is situated on a nice, quiet street. The exterior wasnt like the typical Persian eateries in our neighbourhood, which I appreciated. The dcor was nice, and unique. Nice architectural detailing, the atmosphere was inviting and it set a nice mood for the meal that was to come.The food was delicious, service was good. We got a trio of appetizers, which was a very nice way to start our meal and get a taste (lol) of what was to come. One thing I appreciate when ordering appetizers at any restaurant is that it allows you to take a peak at the feel of the flavours and textures the restaurant offers. The koobideh and joojeh was incredible, and the fesenjoon had flavours that i’ve tried to find at other places, but failed. If it weren’t for the distance, this would be a place i’d come to often.
Poor Customer Service. The food was mediocre but the service was absolutely terrible. Being the only ethically diverse customers in the restaurant at the time, we felt like we were not welcomed as the owner talked and greeted every table except for us. In addition, our server tried to hurry us out by asking us repeatedly whether we were done with our food. It’s never pleasant to feel discriminated against when trying out new types of cuisine, regardless of how subtle the hostility may be. Will not be returning under any circumstances.
Kabab Time. This is one of the best restaurants I have ever tried for Persian kabab. The koobideh is tender and juicy, very filling portion. The restaurant set up is very relaxing and the staff are extremely friendly. I would strongly recommend trying the frozen noodles for desert with a topping of lemon juice. All an all 8.5/10. great experience.
Great food and friendly atmosphere. This was our first time at Rayhoon Persian Eatery and we were not disappointed. The food was great and the dessert was delicious. We were also impressed by the friendly service and atmosphere. Also, the prices were reasonable and the portions were generous. We will be back for sure and have no hesitations in recommending this restaurant to others.
