I was anticipating a great place because of the line and all the awards in the wall, but I was very disappointed. I had the eggs Florentine. The spinach was definitely the kind that comes frozen in a box, and the hash browns were more like fried mashed potatoes with no seasoning. The coffee tasted burnt, and was all round bad. It’s been an hour and I still feel kinda off from the food. Definitely not worth what I paid, or how long I waited.
What can I say about Russell William’s that hasn’t been said before? Established in Aldershot (Burlington) in 1932, they’ve been serving up classics for breakfast, lunch & dinner to generations of locals. On any given day, especially weekends, you see a great mix of students having late brunch while seniors start coming in for supper. Solid comfort food at reasonable prices, also open most holidays when others are typically closed.
My friend highly recommended to eat breakfast at Russell Williams Family Restaurant. I ordered the Farmers Omelette, it was very delicious. The service was great and we sat on the patio on a beautiful Sunday morning.
Best breakfast in Burlington. Always worth the wait.
Great little place. Great family diner with a long history of good service. The name of this place is completely unconnected to Colonel Russell Williams a Canadian found guilty of murder just a few years ago. Fellow reviewers may be relieved to know this.
Way too expensive for what you get!!!! $15 for the burger and fry special at lunch! The burger was home made but nothing to get too excited about and a handful of frozen fries, not worth it in my mind! Won’t be returning.
You ARE kidding me, aren’t you?. Okay, it’s about the name..anyone that would enter, let alone eat, at an establishment with this name needs a really good reality check. This is just plain sick!
