Sammy’s is the best!. Sorry Sammy’s, I’ve been unfaithful. I promise it won’t happen again. I was turned onto Sammy’s Donair by my business partner who grew up going to Sammy’s. I’ve been hooked since I tried my first donair at Sammy’s two years ago. The taste is out of this world, even when re-heated the next day. After reading the reviews that claimed Halifax Donairs were better than Sammy’s, I had to find out for myself. In my opinion, they don’t even compare. Sammy’s sauce is thick and non greasy. The meat is tasty and perfectly cooked. Wrap the two in a pita with tomato and onion and you have a little piece of heaven with each bite. Thank you Sammy’s for providing great food and service.
Sammys was the best – do not go there anymore. 20 years ago, the sammys donair was the talk of the town in burlington…..then there was now. …. very little meat ….. dry (as they have the nerve to microwave it right in front of your eyes). and the price ? ridiculous for what you get. halifax donairs gives you at least twice the meat for less the price….still on the search for the ultimate donair in mississauga, toronto area
