This is by far the best authentic pub in burlington. Great choice of beer and the food is fantastic. Get the gravy with your fries. Also, theres a fairly extensive late night menu (till 1am). GET THERE
The Poacher is the best pub in Burlington! The food alone will keep you coming back for more. I love the poacher burger with sweet potato fries. The atmosphere is really comfortable and the servers are very friendly. No matter what night of the week it is I know there will be a great crowd of people at the Poach!
The best part of this bar is the basement, it’s just a little hole in the wall but everyone knows everyone and it’s just a fantastic atmosphere. Sumak behind the bar is the only downfall… But not really
Great downtown pub. Attentive servers keep your pint glass full. Significantly less douchey than other downtown Burlington pubs and bars. I highly recommended.
