Super menh. Food was far too expensive for the quality. Should have read the reviews before going, my mistake. Not a single item jumped out at me off the menu. Ceasars were terrible and super watered down. Everything was plain Jane across the board. Bathrooms looked like a local dive bar and stunk. Also, sounded like there was a bowling alley upstairs. Won’t be returning.
The food at Burlington Wendel Clark’s is horrible and the bathrooms TASTES like poi poo and the windows aren’t friendly attracted at all as we have to look through smears and I even saw 2 mice tuning around there! It’s horrible! Washrooms stinks so terrible not even a friendly restaurant to eat there and I wondered about the total cleanness in the kitchen! It’s a scary thought!
Meh. Service is definitely ‘casual’. TVs everywhere, so if you’re not there to watch a game, it’s probably not the best choice for a quiet dinner out. Food is pretty standard. Unclear menu descriptions. NY Steak is hugely expensive, and overall, the menu seems really pricey for a sports bar. Would not go out of my way to go back, but would probably go with friends for drinks and snacks, not a meal.
Taste of Frozen Food. Very disappointed. It was our first time there, the second floor patio was very nice. Appetizer was chile lime chicken bites. Deep fried frozen chicken fingers cut into pieces with chili sauce on them. Burgers were frozen patties with frozen onion rings and frozen fries. Burger was disgusting and now I don’t feel well. $65 for two burgers, two beers and one appetizer. Would have been WAY better off going to The Works for burgers.
I’ve eaten at Wendel Clark’s on a few occasions. Everything I’ve ordered was fantastic. The service was amazing. Everyone was smiling and attentive. Even the managers. I recommend it to everyone! It’s a great casual place to go 🙂
I rather like the bartender she’s bubbly and sweet. The beers are cold but this is were it ends. Ate a few appetizers there on different occasions they are for lack of a better word DISGUSTING…No flavor, basic and sad! Waste of money to eat at Wendels. This place won’t last. No atmosphere there are so many better restaurants in downtown Burlington. Counting the days til it flops.
Thursday Boy’s night. Many thanks to staff @ Wendel Clarks in Burlington for hosting our Burlington Boy’s, Christmas Get Together on Thursday the 19th. Special thanks to Manager Francis and bartender Diana, we had 30 people out, snacks were great and good time was had by all.Bert McGrath
