Came here with some friends for a casual bite to eat and the food was all right. We all packed our left overs but as we were leaving there was a cockroach crawling on the wall! I was so grossed out!! I felt like my meal was smothered in it and I left my takeout there. After that experience I never returned.
Absolute terrible customer service!. Decided to try out this place we’ve been eying on for quite some time.We were seated and waited for our service for 25 minutes!! I looked around and noticed that other new customers were being seated and given immediate service (i.e., drinks), whereas, my boyfriend and I were still waiting for a vacant server. We tried catching their attention, however, they either pass us by or busily serving other customers. I was ready to get up and leave when finally, my boyfriend had to tap a server’s shoulder to gain her attention. Her attitude made it seem as if we were an inconvenience to her and proceeded to take our order. The food arrived quick, which was nice, however, our server must’ve forgotten about our request for drinks so we had to, once again, flag an available server for getting our drinks! We ordered the special dinner – shrimp and fillet were good, however, the vegetables were cold. Honestly, nothing totally outstanding. My boyfriend completely lost his appetite and hardly touched his plate.After our meal, we just wanted to get the hell out. Ironically, the server was quick to retrieve our bill within minutes. Obviously, due to the lack of service given, no tip was provided. This translated a problem for our server as she had the audacity to point out that we needed to give a tip. We highlighted the ungodly wait time, the unfriendly service, and just the overall impression that we felt neglected while other customers (that came after us) were being served first! We then proceeded to ask for a manager, which our server got confused (she did not comprehend any English). She got another staff to help with our situation. Initially, she said there was no manager/owner (everyone manages the restaurant), which struck as shady. She then covered up and said that the manager was at home (on a Saturday night when it’s busy?!). Not cool.Terrible impression, zero courtesy and service from staff, will not return!
