My first experience here was very mediocre. They do have some pretty unique items on their menu; not exactly your traditional Hong Kong-style cafe. They have some pricier set dinners similar to Phoenix cafe; I’d be interested to see whether the items on that menu would be better. I’ll probably be returning for trial #2 but so far, not very impressed.
This is a Hong Kong style cafe. The few times I’ve been here they’ve been super busy. I like coming here for their tea time specials. Their deep fried French toast cubes with peanut butter & condensed milk were great! I highly recommended people to try it if you like that sort of thing. During our last visit we had the Poutine with meat sauce. Not sure if we were super hungry at that moment but it was really tasty. The fries were fresh & not super oily.
This place is popular for their french toast cubes, must get it with peanut butter, worth a try. My friend that went with me said the fruit smoothies are good. Recommended.RM
Pork Chop in Onion Sauce. Pork was fresh and tender and not tenderized which I hate and came with fresh veggies which is rare these days especially for lunch at these prices
Food was good but…. Terrible service! I don’t know about you but, service, if you can’t get the basics down, you will never succeed in your business. As much as my friends and I have enjoyed our dishes, it won’t be enough to have us come back with their attitude. They were just plain rude, as if we depended on them for their products. Well guess what? They just lost a valuable customer. I do NOT recommend this place.
Fine food….. Awful service. First of all the food was good with decent portion. however the place is sort of under staffed so servers always run around with a quite awful attitude. I was sorta afraid to ask for anything…..
First visit to this restaurant. Services yet to be improved with this new establishment but food quality is good overall. Will come again to try out their lunch menu.
