Yes, and they are by no means authentic so don’t even come looking for Vietnamese coffee… Cuz they’ll just put condensed milk in the bottom of your cup of instant coffee (overheard from other table). Had pho and chicken wings – they were good. But in terms of flavour – I think it’s weak. I’d go to Vietnam Noodle Star – the *other* unauthentic pho place.. I think overall their bowl of pho is stronger (probably because they have more turnover so everything is more fresh). Prices are similar if not cheaper.
If ever in Markham and craving Pad thai i suggest you visit Pho Pad thai. The service is quick and friendly. As for the food its pretty avega tasting if your into vitnamees cuisine.
I have been here many times for lunch. The pho is good, but I haven’t tried much else. This is a good place to go for a good quick meal, but there’s also nothing special about the restaurant. If you’re in the area and looking for a good, quick and cheap bowl of pho, this is the place to go.
Set Menu for 2 $22.95 is such a bargain at Pho Pad Thai.There are 3 set menus to choose from and the best part is the Dessert Ice Drink to end the meal!Spring Roll is double fried and always super crispy!Pho Pad Thai might not b the most authentic Vietnamese restaurants but great as a neighbhourhood quick bit for some cheap eat.BTW, the Set menu is Cash only!
First, only cash payment is acceptable at this restaurant. We tried to have preset menu for 2 people. Spring rolls were pretty good, we didn’t enjoy the chicken dish at all, but the pork chops were good. Horrible service!!!. Food not bad but service is horrible. I wanted to use credit card to pay for the bill. At the first place, the waitress seems like doesn’t want me to use credit card. Second, the card machine doesn’t work, tried couple times and it shows connection error on the machine. But the waitress’s attitude really rude. She said something seems like I don’t have any limit in my card to pay for only $26. She not even asked me to try another card, just asked me to pay by cash. I definitely will not go back anymore!! PS: I can use my credit card without any problem in Walmart right after!!!!!!
Good pad thai and singapore noodle. I don’t think I’ve tried anything else there as I always get those 2 items. Not sure about the service as I always get takeout but the lady at the cash is friendly. BTW. All 3 types of pad thai are among the best that i’ve tried.
