Service here is so bad and the quality of their vermicelli with pork and spring roll was pretty bad. The noodles were not drained well so there was alot of water sitting on my plate. Condiment bottles were not wiped down in a while, I won’t be returning ever again.
This is my go-to place when ever I crave for Vietnamese ph. The portion is generous and the soup base is very flavorful. I’ve also tried their beef salad by mistake, but boy was it ever a great mistake!I loved it and had no idea it would taste so good. Service is so-so…. But I still come because the food is delicious.
Chinese style Vietnamese food! GOOD: stir fry tofu w/veggies, bbq pork, hot & sour soup tasted great. BAD: food tastes more Chinese than Vietnamese. Bbq chicken was average.
Also my mavourite PHO. VERY VERY VERY good pho!! It’s almost impossible to get anything else as I cant resist the phontation! I did however try a few other dished and they did not disappoint as well.
My fav pho place!. This is one of my favourite places to have pho. I have tried the other pho places in the area but VIP has the best broth for the noodles. There is a good noodle to beef ratio and the food comes pretty fast. Not only do i enjoy their pho, I always order either the iced coffee or avocado shake. Their vermicelli dish with BBQ pork and spring rolls always fills me up. I recommend the curry crab if you’re bring a crowd, its very delicious and the curry is a nice dip for the viet bread. I like the atmosphere here because the high ceiling and green walls make the restaurant very bright and open. It’s a relaxing place to enjoy lunch or dinner with my friends.
Return visit… I think. Probably wasn’t memorable enough the first time and is still that way. Tried pho and it definitely did not taste authentic. Chinese style pho if you are into that. If I return, it won’t be for pho here. Service tried but was kinda poor. Only thing atmosphere has is high ceilings (not usually a deciding factor). Better options around. 30%
This restaurant is not very good and it is more Chinese than Viet. The Pho broth is ok but there’s a lot of MSG. Also, all the rice and vermicelli dishes have more of a Chinese flavor. Even the spring rolls do not taste authentic and it has some type of bean (green or yellow?) in it. The menus ado not even have the proper Vietnamese names and description of dishes.
