For an AYCE sushi this place is lacking variety on fish. Their kitchen is good though and their spicy rolls are spicy so be careful. If you don’t finish your food they will charge you an arm and a leg! I am so serious. This place used to be busy but with all the AYCE competition it has been more quiet than usual. I think if this place got a makeover and the owner wasn’t so strict it would do better.
Yellowtail AYCE Sushi COST: $27 per personGOOD: Free unlimited pop, beef ribs, shrimp skewers, sashimi, rolls, miso soup, chicken skewer, salmon avocado sushi was nice, sushi in general was good.BAD: deep fried stuff not fresh, lack of selection, no iPad ordering system, no fried rice or cold tofu.Overall a good place to go. It’s not busy here and I think it is a good alternative to really busy AYCE places. Just be aware that their selection is limited. I really liked the free unlimited pop 🙂
Do Not Go!!!!This is an AYCE place..however when I put in my order, the waitress refused and said we should wait til our order arrives before making another selection .. In the meanwhile our table had no food. Also, the waitress insist us on finishing the last piece (she literally put the plate in front of us), and told her to finish so she can take away the dish.Aside for this, the sushi quality is quite bad too, and they charged $26.95 per person! I did not walk out feeling full because the sushi and the cooked food were both not good at all. Waste of my time and money.
For an all you can eat sushi place, Yellowtail is a pretty good one. The dishes were all very yummy and the service was actually very pleasant every time we go.
Get the Avocado Sushi. Lunch menu was limited. Service was decent and staff were knowledgeable. Rolls were a bit of a disappointment however the salmon avocado was very disappointing.Sushi was all delicious! We loved the avocado sushi!Ps. Thanks for keeping our keys safe
Decor is rather generic but I guess we came for the food so it goes. Overall food was very good. Our ladies where quite happy with everything. Sashimi was fresh though cut rather small, not quite the proper slice of fish but then it is AYCE so just have to dip quicker in the soya sauce lol. Tempura is crispy and soup and udon are all made well. Beef as in beef ribs, cubes, rolls, skewers all very good quality. We really liked the beef ribs. Service was great by mostly the young lady until the point when we got the bill. The older lady was refusing our coupon we found through RFD clipdeals and almost made us feel like we made up the coupon as they never authorized such a coupon and only approved ones printed in flyers and not online for self print. She even made claims that maybe it’s for another yellowtail upon which my friend pointed out the printed address. I wasn’t upset but the ladies well….. And you don’t want to do that …… I didn’t want to ruin the evening over a few $$ so asked her to see what she can do. In the end this is our first time and this coupon did help her land our business this time and possibly future ones. She eventually came back and gave it to us. We are likely to make this our gotto AYCE Japanese until we find a better one.It’s just hard to justify coming here when our kid turns 4 and has to start paying $17 instead of $4 and she is NOT a good eater at all.
Friendly service and good food. I’ve been there 3 times over the last year and every time, I get great service and food. I don’t have anything to complain about here and to top it off, it’s a very clean restaurant! I’ve done ayce lunch and dinner as well as ala carte lunch. great value! Two thumbs up!
