2019/03/07We have driven passed Ziz Greek Kitchen many times, but it is not open on weekends or evenings. Since it was lunchtime, we decided to give it a try. It is a counter service restaurant that seats about 40. We arrived about a quarter past noon, and there were only a couple of people ahead of us ordering food. SWBMO picked the Chicken Souvlaki Dinner ($11). The meal came with Greek salad, rice and roasted potato, and some tzatziki. We werent offered any substitutions for the sides. SWBMO usually forgoes the potato in favour of more rice. Also, there were no black olives on the salad. The chicken was nicely seasoned, tender and tasty. I chose the Falafel Dinner ($9). The sides were the same as SWMBOs. Their menu picture shows four falafel balls; I got three. They were tasty enough, but a bit dry.Overall just an average experience.
