Two sides. So I just read the review posted June 24 2014. Hello, I am the server in this post. I ask everyone to come to the Hing Wah at 6:15 and see if this is true. I remember this customer because of how rude and ignorant he was to me. The buffet was full except for the wings because we have the best wings in town and it takes 15 minutes to cook them and they go fast. There are some people you just can’t please and he is one of them. He just wanted a free meal and was mad when he did not get it. You treated me badly that night. You have also never brought any of this up to me when you have seen me. Shame on you, your just mean. You will also notice I used my name, why, because honesty should never be anonymous.

We went to Hing Wah restaurant in Carleton Place on June 24 2014 at 6:15pmWe sat down I went up for a small bowl of won ton soup and noticed everything was empty and the containers that had stuff in it were like 2 or 3 pieces in it My girlfriend got a few scraps like 2 wings 2 spare ribs one chicken ball,but when I went up all I could get was 3 chicken wings and 2 tiny spare ribs. We asked the waitress if more food was coming she assured us everything will be filled up We waited 30 minutes with only 3 things getting partly filled up. Is business that slow at this time of night they refuse to fill things up they should close buffet. I asked the server will I be charged full price since I didn’t really eat,she went to the back kitchen came out with no sorry or care and said YOU HAVE TO PAY FULL PRICE no explanation or anything then she walked away. SHAME ON YOU HING WAH for treating loyal customers this way ,we have been here dozens of times but this will be the last. This is a small town and word will get around. So I went to the cash and the server said $33.79 no remorse no sorry or anything WOWSeems to me owners and staff should show a little more feeling to their customers.
