The view from the patio overlooking the Grand River is the appeal of this place. Although they use locally sourced ingredients and have a smokehouse onsite, the food was mediocre – both in presentation and in preparation. Too much sauce overpowered the pulled pork, their specialty mac and cheese was very tasty but the noodles were overcooked, and the pork burger was on the bland side and could have used more spices in the actual meat instead of relying on condiments.

This place is Amazing!. We came looking for a great place for lunch and the gorgeous old building drew us in but sitting on the back patio sipping a local brew watching the River flow by was awesome! The food was inventive and great and the wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable! If you are in Elora, this is the place to go! As the Dutchies say, it was mooi gezellig! (Just Google it) Eet Smakelijk!!
Made a reservation for four adults a toddler and a baby and they gave us the best seat on the patio. The service was superb and outdone only by the food itself. A wonderful surprise were the giant legos my son could play with, which allowed us to take the time to enjoy our food.
Clean nice place. Excellent service, very polite staff. The best burger I’ve ever had and the menu is varied. Worth to drive from Toronto.
