I visited remis place with a few of my friends after we went for a hike enjoying the beauty of elora, and our stop here only made our day better! The friendly staff treated us with upmost care and valued our business a great deal! They were nice and the ice cream was even nicer 🙂 I definitely would come back here!
We stopped in for a bite to eat and after seeing the ridiculously overpriced finger foods I decided to get myself a pop and milkshake (for $6.25 which seemed pricey, but I was okay with the shake). Gave the guy a $50 bill, got back $40. I asked him how much the 500mL bottle of pop came to and he said $3. Absolutely ridiculous! From what I hear they close for the season at the end of this month (October) so I guess they have to rip people off to cover their mortgage and bills over the winter. My advice to anyone looking to eat in Elora is to stay away, stay far away from this place as your wallet will cry of agony. Prices are too high and the food is mediocre at best.
The service and food was super great!! Everyone was friendly and patient. I know the previous owner had a bad reputation but the current management is doing their best to turn things around. Hope to be back here soon!
STAY AWAY!!!!! Prices are ridiculous and food is not good, and we only had fries! Typical frozen fries, and overcooked. As much as we like crispy fries, there is a fine line. We shared fries and had to wait and wait because he was scooping ice cream, and if we had not already paid for them, I would have left.Washrooms are out of order, but I wonder if they just dont want customers using them.Hubby wanted an ice cream and there were no people in line, so we went back in..but considering there was no one in the place, he still did not come to serve us. He kept looking over and pointing his finger as if he was coming anytime, but again, we waited and waited. I dont know WHY we had to wait, there was no one there. I told my hubby, we’re going I had enough of this HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We left and found a store across the road selling ice cream, sherbert, and gelatto..DEFINITELY WILL NOT GO BACK AND DO NOT RECOMMEND
The prices are ridiculous, and the customer service is terrible! We went to buy 2 ice cream cones. Paid $5.50 each, for less than 1/2 cup of ice cream on each cone. Employees were rude, and told us that was the price for high quality ice cream. It’s by Sealtest- not exactly gourmet! Will NEVER go back to Remi’s!

we had a fascinating day in Elora.it was a gorgeous place to visit/we chilled in Elora mews .listening to a nice music while having our lunch. they have the best hamburgers in the world!
