Fresco Bistro Italiano is an Ottawa institution having been on Elgin Street since 1991. Food is comforting and Canadian with an Italian soul. We care a lot about the ingredients and chose local suppliers and purveyors when possible. We offer many options to please gluten free customers or people with other dietary restrictions. Staff are very caring and conscientious and some have even been there since the bistro first opened it's doors. The ambiance is second to none in the city and is a must for anyone visiting Ottawa. Dinner served nightly as well as late night cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the Guest Room on the second floor. We look forward to hosting you soon.
