It had been a while since we visited, so we were very excited to return. We sat down and got our menu, to realize the items had changed pretty drastically, as things do over time. There was no more complementary soup, there were hardly any vegetables (8 zucchini sticks, 2 slices of onion, and a handful of mushrooms for a table of 7 people), and the sesame sauce was so thin; it didn’t even stick to the rice or the steak. Even dessert is not included anymore, it cost an extra $15 for those of us who chose to have the lackluster orange sherbert. Overall, we all just felt disappointed. The price has gone way too high for the quality that is received.

Below average food, average service and completely overpriced. There are a lot of things wrong with this place. Chefs do not know how to time the meals.. Your meal and sides should be cooked and served on your plate all at once.. not in stages. I ordered the filet and scallops. Scallops were way over cooked and tasted like rubber, the steak was tender but the sauce was really nothing more than liquid salt and everything tasted slightly charred. For $36 they should throw in some higher end veggies other than just white rice, wilted salad, and a few pieces of mushroom and onion. The place smells and not a good smell… and the chef looks like he hates his job. Combo + small sake + 15% tip = $55.00. Money definitely not well spent. First time here and definitely my last.
