We were debating between this place and Pho Bo Ga 2 which is located next door. We ended up here because my bf liked the lounge concept and the purple decor. When we first got in, the place was empty (around 5:30 on a Thursday evening) but by the time we left, the place was full. I have to admit the service was rather disappointing. The waitress never asked if we wanted something to drink, never checked up on us during the meal and we had to track her down to get the bill. Our phos were served quickly on the other hand. Broth was tasty and pipping hot (rare beef almost cooked immediately) and the garnishes were fresh. I didn’t really like the meatballs’ texture. Nevertheless, the pho was delicious.
