Good shisha and that’s it!. El Fishawy is very conveniently located compared to other shisha cafes. The shisha quality is good and there is a wide selection of flavours. However, do not order food at this establishment! Very sub-par menu. Also, service is terrible. Waiters stand around but they are very unattentive, and quite rude. Only go here if you know exactly what you want, and you’re only ordering shisha!
Iam a custumer at fishaway ,I go there all the time . I am white person and all staff members treat me very nice , service is great and their business is runing perfectly cuz of their good treatment . And for the ppl who trash talk about the place there jelouse cuz they see a great place like this is very successful . And by the way for all the hate that ppl give fishaway they just giving the place more confidence .the place is great, service is awsome , prices are low and I would recomended to spend nice time over there.and lets be honest if the place wasnt successful u wouldnt wait in line for 20 minutes , that shows the place is busy and lots of ppl go there . And plz stop with ur ignorats actions and trash talk about the place .
El Fishawy. This is a very nice place for everyone, unless underage. All races are welcome, what you hear in the comments isn’t true. 9 Dollars for a clean hookah with everything is dirt cheap. Their food as well, 6 Dollar Shawarma is a great price as well. The setting of the place is very nice. The service is decent, you can’t expect 5 star service going into a place with such low pricing on their items. I’d recommend trying their Watermelon Shisha with some French fries!
Awful, humiliating experience!. Based on the other reviews on this page, I’m certain this establishment’s ability to humiliate their ‘non-Arab’ customers becomes apparent. A few friends and I, looking for a hookah bar in central Mississauga, opted to visit El Fishawy. Boy, was this ever a mistake. I wish I’d read reviews on this place prior to showing up there last night. We waited at the door to be seated, as is the norm, for about 15-20 minutes. We were ignored. No staff came up to us to tell us about wait times. That’s okay, right? Well, it would have been had that been the extent of the rude behaviour. Caucasian customers and those of Arab descent would show up behind us and be immediately allowed in and seated. What is this, the 1960s in Alabama? How can an establishment in Canada, in 2013, continue to remain open when they discriminate based on ethnicity on a regular basis? My experience wasn’t an isolated incident. We were denied service on the basis of our skin colour. It’s as simple as that. When we politely approached the staff to ask when and if we could be seated, the server, without even bothering to make eye contact, told us to step behind the door and rudely asked, ‘can’t you see there’s no space?’ Appalled at the way we had just been spoken to (this has never happened to me before. I’m South Asian, clearly a visible minority, and never in my entire life have I been treat like this, by anyone), we decided to leave. This place certainly did not deserve our business. Make no mistake, if you are a person of colour, please decide against going to this establishment. Their attitudes seem to be stuck in the Middle East where the sub-par treatment of ethnic minorities is the norm. It is NOT okay to engage in blatant discrimination in Canada. Perhaps they didn’t get this memo.Terrible experience. Save yourself the trouble.
Don’t go you’ll be disapointed. The place is ok probably better than any i’ve seen. But the service is terrible the shisha taste like dust and the food has no flavour it’s so dull that we couldn’t even eat it. I’ve been many times to that place and i have to admit the more i go the more they disapoint me.I would’nt even recommend it.BTW there is a much better place called OKO blue on the weekend and its hype 😉
This place is great at late nights. Been here more than 15 to 20 times. Just its day off is on a monday w/c is understandable.
Based off my experience, the service at this establishment needs to be more attentive to their customers. The service was speedy but they messed up our order. We had to call over the waiters many times. Seems like they favor other customers as it was my first time there and they did not show my friend and I the same courtesy they were showing others.
