The sandwiches here are amazing! Been here multiple times and always meets expectations. The servers are friendly. Usually I stick with the grilled chicken or veal. Perfect amount of sauce and not sloppy like other places.
FOOD:We had come here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon at around 12:15 pm. I had settled on the Regular Chicken Sandwich (With Cheese), while my mother had settled on the Regular Chicken Sandwich without any toppings. We had also decided on an order of French Fries to share between us; my mother had opted for Orange Juice to drink. The sandwiches were actually quite large, cut-in half, with a large amount of chicken on each side. There was also sauce on each piece of chicken however, any other additional toppings were extra (which we found a bit expensive as the sandwich itself was about $8.00). The sandwiches were delicious however, one thing that we would have liked was for them to be crunchy (as in, put in the oven). We werent given that option when ordering however, that is something that we would like to have an option for in the future. The French Fries however were horrible; they were crunchy and hot (temperature-wise) however, they were very salty, as if a pound of salt was just poured over them. We had told the woman behind the counter when she asked how everything was tasting however, she just shrugged and said OK. Overall, the sandwiches were quite good, and filling, for the price that we had paid however, we werent too impressed with the additional topping prices, as well as the salty French Fries that we were served.ATMOSPHERE:This restaurant was very small, with about seven or eight small tables, not large enough to accommodate a large group of people. My mother was disappointed as she would have hoped that there was some sort of Italian ambiance, which could have included Italian music. I agreed as I felt that this restaurant was more of a to-go place as opposed to a place where you could sit for a long while and enjoy. Also, it was very hot in the restaurant, and only a piece or two of Italian-inspired artwork on the wall. SERVICE:When we had walked-in, we were greeted by a kind woman behind the counter whom informed us that the computer wasnt working and that she would have to manually input the orders. We told her that this was not a problem, and proceeded to input our orders by asking a few questions about the food items. We received our meals quite quickly by the woman behind the counter, whom brought the trays of food to our table directly. The only thing that we werent too impressed about was that when we told the woman behind the counter that the French Fries were much too salty (after she had asked how the food was), she just responded with OK. We would have hoped that maybe she could have apologized or replaced the item however, she did not.COST:1 Regular Chicken Sandwich (With Cheese) + 1 Regular Chicken Sandwich + 1 Order Of French Fries + 1 Bottle Of Orange Juice = $19.39 (Taxes Included)WOULD YOU RETURN?I would return however, I would like to request a few different things upon my next visit.
