Bad experience for a 1st timer. Drove by @ tenth line to get some stuffs at shoppers and the wife suggested that we should give it a try ( sizzlos) since we havent eatn our dinner yet…we got there around 9:10 to be exact and the moment we came in the lady in the cashier told us that theyre closing at 10 so i said well hurry up and be done eating by then..they served the food at 9:42 so me and the wife just decided to bring it home instead to give them (staff) the consideration of goin home early too since nobody’s there but us anyway..so they packed our food ( we ordered quarter chicken and ribs / fries and drinks) and only to realized that they forgot to give us the fries by the time we got home…1.chicken is good but too small2.ribs were burnt ( kinda like in a hurry to get rid of me and my family)3.fries – gone!…perhaps theyre in a hurry to close the store and they forgot to give it to usFunny thing is that i looked up on google to give them a calll which they wouldnt answer by the way…but hey according to yelp theyre closing soon – 11pm…wonderful!…lolTo sum it up i would not recommend Sizzloss…period! Not impressed. The chicken was undercooked (raw-ish) and lacking salt. The fries were really boring (McCain style with some herbs sprinkled on it).
Chicken keeps shrink. The taste of the chicken is good and it can compete with NandosThe downside is the size of the chicken – its seams like they are getting smaller.1 whole chicken could feed a family of 4, now days we need more then a whole chicken.It seams that they buy the chicken by weight ( small the better ) and they they sell the same chicken as whole .This has been a big disappointment.
Best. Chicken. Ever.. Love their chicken, both the whole chicken and the kebabs. Not crazy about their fries but who cares I’ll just eat more chicken. Completely worth the $$. Service is very good too. Keep up the good work!
Great Evening Out at Sizzlo’z. We were a group of 14 of various age groups and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal and service at Sizzlo’z. Chicken was tender and flavourful and there were sides to suit everyone’s needs. Great selection of peri peri sauces. Portion sizes were good and service was friendly. We will definitely return! Good job management and keep it up!
