Went here for Suhoor (around 2am), we were about 7-10 guys so we ordered quite a bit of food. The various dishes came 15 minutes apart, some cold. The quality of the food was poor, it seemed like old/unfresh food they had partially heated up. Portions were quite small as well. Overall experience was pretty poor unfortunately
Went to this restaurant with friends for breakfast buffet, price was $11.99 and for that you get Halwa/puri, pays and nihari breakfast with unlimited Paris & naan.Taste was good and they were able to handle large crowds at a time. Place is small so got kind of tight with large number of people, however the wait staff were fast and responsive.Overall it was a good experience.
They do not stand behind the quality of their food. Terrible customer service, took over 45 minutes for the food to come, and the food was under cooked, and the biryani had too much salt. When confronted, they completely disregarded anything we had to say, knowing full well that they served us less than adequate food. Anyone wanting to go to this horrible restaurant, do so at your own risk. There are many other South Asian restaurants in Mississauga that far better in service and quality than this horrid restaurant. AVOID AT ALL COSTS !
Went to Zaaffran Kitchen on recommendation from a colleague. I loved the kadahi chicken. Its definitely worth every cent. My veggie friends suggested even dal makhani and paneer kadahi is nice. They take spl care of guests, we were offered Kheer as a complimentary sweet dish!! Thanks for that. One suggestion for improvement- please make washrooms cleaner.
BEST PLACE FOR AUTHENTIC PAKISTANI FOOD! This is my go to place for Pakistani food. If you want fresh and delicious authentic Pakistani food this is the place to go. I have never been disappointed in all my times coming here. The food is always tasty and they are always willing to change up the dish to your liking. My 6 year old will only have butter chicken from here because they will make it to suit her spice level. You will not be disappointed if you come here. I have gotten to know the owner Asif and you cannot find a more genuine and humble person. I can assure you will not be disappointed if you try this place out.
FOOD:I had come here on a Monday evening at around 6:00 pm for dinner; I had settled on the Butter Chicken With Naan ($11.99). I noticed that the dishes, cutlery, and cups were all placed on the table when I had sat down. I was then given a pitcher of water by the server, whom poured it into my glass, and left it on the table for me to drink from (the only downfall was that the water was room-temperature, with no offer of ice to add to the glass).I was impressed with how large of a dish the Butter Chicken came in, along with the many pieces of Naan that I was given along with it. The only thing that I found about the Butter Chicken was that the chicken pieces were a bit small, and there werent too many of them; also, some of them tasted a bit bland. Otherwise, the sauce was quite good, and the Naan was equally as delicious, warm and doughy (just the way I like it). Definitely a large portion size which kept me full for many hours afterwards.ATMOSPHERE:When I had walked-into this restaurant, I was the only guest there. There were many tables that had Reserved signs on them. When I was greeted upon walking-in by a kind younger gentleman at the front, I had asked him if I could sit anywhere I liked. I ended up sitting in one of the booths with the Reserved sign as I was told I could sit there. The restaurant seemed to be a bit overcrowded with tables and chairs however, it was manageable since I was the only one there. There were also people coming-in and out for take-out as opposed to dining-in.SERVICE:When I sat down, the younger gentleman whom greeted me upon my arrival came to take my order (the menu was already on the table when I had sat down). He then brought me the water first, then my food items after about ten minutes. He also came to ask me how I was enjoying my meal as I was dining, something which I thought was kind of him to do. When I was finished however, I kept looking in his direction as he was talking to a co-worker however, he didnt notice me, with the co-worker noticing me, and me having to say that I was finished. Definitely pretty-good service for the most part.COST:1 Butter Chicken With Naan: $10.99 + Tax = $13.55 (Taxes Included)WOULD YOU RETURN?I found the food to be pretty-good however, I probably wouldnt return anytime soon.
