This is probably the best BBQ place in Waterloo. I would balance the sweetness of Ribs & BBQ Chicken with the hotness of the wings for a 3 platter option. The preparation and use of spices is top notch and shows that there is a good southern touch to the food.The sides are a let down for me. Cornbread is way too sweet, hush puppies are bland. Hand cut fries are just ok and there is room for improvement. If the fries were similar to Popeye’s cajun it would be a killer option!
