O crappy sushi and everything else!. This was yet again a terrible experience! To start it took 5 minutes for anyone to notice that we were even there! And then another 10 minutes for them to finally take our order! I would understand if it was busy but the place was dead! The sushi was crap and it honestly tasted like the crab and slamon had been dipped in some sort of cleaning chemical! Would not go back here! The head woman who is rude and ignorant needs an attitude check! What a b****! Do not eat here!
Bad experience!!!. The food is actually really good here, I’d say better than Ye’s but other than that I have nothing good to say about the place. Worst service, so slow not too mention it took them half an hour just to take our first order and they weren’t very busy! About half way through a picture frame fell off the wall where we were sitting, knocking mine and my friends drinks over, mine split all over my white pants (which stained by the way)… The servers didn’t do much, said sorry once, brought napkins and made us clean up the mess, oh and they hesitated when we asked for new drinks! I couldn’t believe it, anywhere else and they’d be on their knees begging for our forgiveness… Not impressed at all, we will not be going back!!
My fiance and I love the sushi here, especially their vegetable and meat teppanyaki. They have a great selection and the rolls are always fresh. The sashimi is great as well. The issues begin and end with the service… It can be alright but tonight we waited 40 minutes while staring at an open table and then had someone get put there before us (we arrived first) all because there is only one woman allowed to seat (who knows why). The woman seating also feels the need to clean, take payments, collect dishes and retrieve menues while the rest of the staff wanders around slowly. If its busy don’t expect to be seated and don’t always expect your entire order to come.
Omg service sucked. We got 25% of our order. We waited over an hour and finally when one of the ppl at our table orders dessert. We something and the waitress first pretend she didn’t understand, then said it was busy hence why we didn’t get our order although it wasn’t, then she walks away but comes back 10 minutes later with the order But at this point we are to full and upset for waiting. When we went to pay what seemed like the assistant manager proceeds to tell us that the waitress had went ahead and canceled our order way back when we first placed order because she felt it would be too much food for us to eat. I I told the assistant manager it was not the waitresses place to cancel our order she agreed with us but yet we still had to pay the full amount we did not nearly get enough food for $23. Not the same place/ service as in the past. With sushi restaurants opening up all over the region OYummy better work on their service!!23 Apr, 2013Food is great but the service has gone down hill my last few visits. What was most appalling was walking in to a extremely murky fish tank, the girl was in process of cleaning it but that should have not been happening while people were dining. As a regular, we have gone less in the past few months based on the poor service.
Average AYCE sushi place, but hated the service, very rude and not welcoming stuff, will never go back again.
Average all you can eat quality. I found the rice to be a bit mushy. Not sure if I would go here again, but the sexy snapper roll is worth going for. It was delicious and how many other places give their sushi such scandalous names?
Horrible Dining experience. I had a horrible dining experience at O’Yummy Sushi.Their sushi/rolls are okay, some are perhaps better than Ye’s or Sushi 99 but it’s nothing exceptional.Their service? Really bad.This place takes much longer to bring out food compared to Ye’s or Sushi 99, and also I noticed that they are really good at forgetting about your order. I double checked with them to make sure my food was on the way and it still didn’t come for another 15 minutes so I gave up and ordered my dessert to finish off the meal. Then all my dishes (like 2 rolls(6pcs each), udon noodles, teriyaki) that I’ve been waiting for all came out once AFTER I was half way through my icecream. Who does that?At this point, I was ready to pay $0 tip. BUT they didn’t even have this option. If you pay with debit/credit, it forces you to pay at least 10% tip. They don’t give you that option of choosing ‘no’ for tips.Student 10% off deal? you are out of luck if you don’t have cash with you. Make sure to bring cash because it clearly does not say that on their advertisement.
