Love this place, food is fantastic! Its one of those places you find and try once and wanna come back to try everything on the menu! Fine dining at a reasonable price, its a little hidden but well worth the hunt
Courtice’s own lil Gem!!!. I have ate here several times now since I first gave it a try and every since receiving the first order of wild mushroom Bruschetta I was hooked every entre is delicous. There’s always dailys special with fresh local ingredients I highly recommend giving the Bistro a try but make sure you make reservations.
NEWCASTLE CELIAC. Made clear I am Celiac, server said they could accommodate GF requests. But within an hour of finishing grilled salmon salad, began to experience gastrointestinal woes, which I know from years of experience is a reaction to gluten somewhere in the meal. The server was excellent, the meal tasted terrific, but definitely not GF-friendly. On another note, Bistro 238 would benefit from some reno and dcor improvements.

Great!. Amazing food, they will customize your order for you! Really nice servers and a good atmosphere!Definitely would reccomend for any occasion or just a random dinner out. Not too pricey, but the food is pretty fancy 🙂
Good food cooked to order nice independent servers sometimes temperamental but overall great place to eat support the small guys!!
