Best food in town. It is not fast food, it is delicious fresh food. Best breakfast, lunch, dinner, burgers, fish, steak, beer, home style special dishes all are great. I live in Atlanta and frequently travel to Bowmanville, always eat here it is a treat.
Really Bad Food. I have gone to this restaurant five times over the past year. First time the food was okay but the waitress ignored me and my family for most of the time to talk to a friend and even messed up the order. Fine mistakes happen. I was out with my mom and we decided to stop in for a quick bite to eat. My mom being a vegetarian for over 35 years decided to order something fairly basic and easy. She had a garden salad, the waitress brought a caesar. Really, how could they make that mistake?On our fourth visit my daughter ordered from the kids menu, spaghetti and meat sauce. She said it tasted funny so I tried a bite. I dont know how to explain it but it was the worst thing I have ever tried. We sent it back, paid out bill and left for another restaurant.On our final visit I had ordered the poutine, pregnancy craving. They used chicken gravy! Even though the menu and waitress had said it was a special poutine gravy. I sent it back and ordered a burger instead. The burger tasted great till about halfway through something tasted strange and I noticed a drop of red on my plate (not ketchup). I looked and the burger was pink still! At this point I became very mad, I was 7 months pregnant and they serve me meat that was not properly cooked. We paid our bill and left, I will never go to this place again and have advised many people of how horrible it is.
