It’s a small restaurant, there isn’t much seating available. Perfect for take out. Takes around 20 mins to get your pizza. The large size is perfect for 3 people.Food:In comparison to the famous Giordano Deep Dish pizza, I enjoyed this more as it was not dry. It was filled perfectly to my liking. It is a little messy to eat though. You get to choose all sort of toppings which are roughly a dollar each. Depending on the toppings the price of this pizza can be higher than other deep dishes pizzas in the city. They also drizzle the pizza with your choice of sauce at the end! Will definitely go back and try other flavors. There are halal options.
FOOD:I had come here on a Saturday evening at around 7:00 pm for a deep-dish pizza, as I had heard great things about this type of pizza from this establishment. I had settled on the Baby Killer King Dragon Pizza ($10.45), which was good to feed 1-2 people; the only additional topping that I had ordered was pepperoni, which was an additional $1.90. In terms of the pizza itself, I was actually surprised to see how small it was, I was expecting it to be bigger. However, once I had bit into it, I noticed that it was quite deep, which was filling in itself. The only thing that I wasnt too keen on was that there was only a thin layer of sauce, cheese, and pepperoni on the top, with the remaining thickness consisting of crust, which included a lot of inner bread, along with a thick layer on the bottom. The pizza itself was okay however, nothing that I hadnt had before. I felt that I paid quite a lot for a pizza which consisted mostly of bread and crust, which I didnt find as appetizing as I would have hoped. I could tell that a lot of work was put into making the pizza appear presentable, which was something that I appreciated of the staff. ATMOSPHERE:This establishment was situated in a small strip plaza on Lakeshore Road West in Mississauga. The other businesses were not busy as it was a Saturday evening therefore, parking was easy to find. However, there was no seating available inside or out, which made it difficult for me to eat my pizza hot (I had to drive home which was a good distance away before I could eat it comfortably). I found that the place was also quite narrow, which made it difficult for people who were leaving, and those that were coming-in to order. There was a lot of signage on the walls, with the menu written in chalk near the front door. I found the menu to be very confusing, as there were too many options, and with people walking back and forth in front of me, it wasnt easy to read at all. It was also loud and hot inside, which made it uncomfortable as we waited for the pizza to be made, which was 25 minutes. I wished there were more places to sit, or even a more straightforward menu which was easy to navigate.SERVICE:When I had gone to the cashier to place my order, I found that he was very pleasant, along with being quite patient, considering it was my first time, and I was unsure of specific things related to the ordering procedure and ingredients available. When I was waiting for my pizza, I was told that the cook had a question for the sauce on the top. He was also quite pleasant, and waited for me to come in from outside where I was waiting. I found that the staff were helpful, which made me happy to see.COST:1 Baby Killer King Dragon Pizza ($10.45) + Extra Topping (Pepperoni; $1.90) = $12.35 + Tax = $13.95WOULD YOU RETURN?No; I didnt feel that the money was worth the pizza that I had received. I also didnt enjoy the atmosphere, and wouldnt want to have to take my pizza home to eat once again.
Mickey’s pizza is the best!!! Service is exceptional and prices are more than fair. I loved my experience there, but most of all I loved their pizza!!!!! Hot, fresh, and delicious!!!!
The sauce they are using is just salty and have no aroma of basil or oregano. I have told them two times that the sauce is what it makes the pizza tasty . They don’t care about customers opinion and they told me that their pizza sauce is very expensive and should be good. their pizza is not tasty !!Expensive pizza , okay dough and ingredients but only a salty taste from the sauce. We have stopped going to their place since is not worth it…
Awesome deep dish pizza, quality ingredients , bit pricey but u get every penmy back in taste. Really passionate about what they makes. Small place to sit but oh man man the pizza is melting in your mouth
The last time I had a real deep dish pizza was in Chicago. I heard good things about Micky’s and wanted to give it a try. Overall quality was good, I certainly enjoyed the pizza. The toppings were good quality and pizza tasted good. Was it a Chicago deep dish? NO! The crust was typical pizza dough. In Chicago the crust is crunchy and flaky like a pie crust. It’s also a very buttery tasting dough. As far as pricing goes… I don’t mind paying for quality. Having said that, the base price of the pizza is reasonable, price per topping is a bit much. The pizza is at the upper end of what I would want to pay for it. My small deep dish pizza was close to $17 dollars.
Best pizza I’ve ever had. The deep dish pizza is amazing, better than deep dish I’ve had in Chicago even. Definitely worth the drive to Mississauga.
