The food is overpriced, and not that good. The people who run it are asses. I’ve heard HORROR stories of the boss saying sexist, racist, and homophobic things all the time. If I’m going to pay too much for mediocre food I’d like to avoid being insulted behind my back
Too much food and an overly attentive waiter. Escargot excellent however way too much for a lunch appetizer. Veal very salty. And again too much for a luncheon menu. Didn’t even touch the second piece. Wasteful. Waiter constantly interrupted our conversations to double and triple check on us.

Despite what chef said I know the fish wasn’t fresh. My friend wanted to have a special dinner birthday so when we saw that this quaint place had sea bass featured which is a favourite of mine as well as my two dinner mates we were all thrilled. When the dish arrived after three fabulous appetizers we were impressed with the presentation. However, when we tasted the fish it was obvious that 2 out of the 3 pieces were not fresh. I have to note I have ordered sea bass at every place it has been featured on a menu so I do know what the fish should taste like. We told the waiter and the chef – a well know chef I have been told. came out when we were served our second dish. The chef said it must be our taste buds and he assured us the fish was fresh. We both ordered other meals and were thoroughly impressed. I should also note that the wine – Silly Pilly was wonderful . Everything else about this meal was perfect- appetizers of pumpkin gnocchi and spinach goat cheese canoli with wildmushroom sauces were fabulous. – the bread with spices on top melted in our mouths.- The sea bass our third friend had was wonderful with lobster stuffed pasta, as well as the featured pasta and my steak dinner were also truly top shelf quality . We ended the meal with 3 types of creme brulle that were all perfect. The waiter was very attentive and overall it turned into a good night. I would not go back again for one reason onlI know the fish was not fresh and this chef instead of looking into his supplier ( I don’t doubt it arrived that day) or the storage of the fish he blamed it on 2 diners taste buds. Maybe he has always served sea bass that isn’t fresh and his taste buds think that that is normal.
Amazing place
Great Wines!. Killer selection adn good input from servers. Super just to finish the day with a glass of wine and some cheese and fruit, flipping through papers, cool little patio too. Very good. Have been here a number of times since it opened. love the eggplant tower app. They do fish very well – not overcooked.Always have good specials which are internesting.Wait staff is attentive.Prices very good for the quality of the food.Wish we had more of these type of restaurants in Mississauga.
